Vintage Braun 4749 / AB4 battery operated quartz alarm clock. Designed by Dietrich Lubs, and first introduced in 1987. The Braun alarm clock has gone on to become a true design icon. The clock is in good used vintage condition. It shows age / usage related marks throughout, including some marking on the face. Moulded black plastic body, with clear acrylic face. Hour hands in white, with a fluorescent tip. Second hand in yellow. Alarm hand in black, with a green tip. Curved back with controls for advancing the hands and setting the alarm. The back panel slides up to set the alarm, and to also reveal the battery compartment. Simply push the panel back down to turn the alarm off. Alarm function tested briefly in working order.
