19th century mahogany chest of two short over three long, graduated drawers, resting on turned legs. This is a considerable piece of furniture - solid, sturdy and heavy! It has decorative brass handles with a lion embossed to the centre. One of the ring pulls is missing, but this could be sought off eBay or the like. The chest has a great patina, and does have some marks and scuffs here and there as is to be expected with a piece of this age! There is also a crack down the left hand side of the chest - although this is stable and quite common with pieces of this age - see photographs!
