Large, sturdy late Victorian / early Edwardian chest of two short over three long drawers all resting on short splayed legs. This is a solid, heavy chest - but has a few war wounds… there are a few pieces of veneer missing and the top is marked with some splits - which are stable! There is also one handle / knob that is different to the rest and there is evidence of historic worm which is inactive but has been treated! Regardless of it’s issues - it’s a good solid piece… and could be brought back to life… it will certainly be here for generations to come and it affords great storage!
