Edwardian inlaid chest of two short over three long graduated drawers, resting on tapered legs. The inlay is a rope design which gives it that elegant look, and the chest has a galleried back and is furnished with brass Shield shaped decorative handles. The colour of the chest is a lovely honey glaze and has a great patina. We think the chest is a light mahogany. There are some superficial marks etc - but nothing greatly to note. There is evidence of a tiny amount of historic worm to the back of the chest which is inactive and has been treated. The chest is sturdy and strong and will be here for generations to come! We have a dressing table, wardrobe and head board in stock to match this chest! Dimensions 99cm wide x 45.5cm deep x 122.5cm high to top of gallery back and 106cm high to the top of the chest.
