A beautifully, scarcely seen chest of drawers manufactured by E-Gomme for G-Plan of Great Britain. This three drawer chest formed part of the 'China White' range which was introduced in 1956. Condition: Good restored condition Still as any vintage piece it still show wear and tear. Bit of loss paint close to the habdles. Clean interior of drawers but with scratches. run smothly except for the upper one which sometimes stuck a little. Off-white lacquered drawer fronts with the carcass framed in blonde oak, with distinctive ebonised legs beautifully set off by brass feet and matching brass drawer pulls. This has not been molested or painted over. Generous storage space and a large surface on which to display decorative items. Upper drawer feature removable dividers allowing the drawer space to be zoned for different uses. E-Gomme gold stamp to the inside drawer.
