Victorian mahogany bow front sideboard with a galleried back, having three central graduated drawers and flanked by two cupboards. The right cupboard has a slider drawer and the left has a fixed single shelf. The drawers are furnished with decorative metal handles and the galleried back and rim of the sideboard has a pie crust trim. To the front and side elevation, there is a fretwork design to the corner of the legs. The sideboard has a couple of issues - there is a full length crack to the top which is stable and has no movement and there is a small amount of trim missing to the right hand cupboard door - see photographs! The sideboard has a lovely patina and there are marks as would be expected with a sideboard of this age! It is extremely solid and heavy - and would be a room changer!
