Victorian mahogany secretaire bookcase having two upper glass doors with three adjustable shelves, over a central fitted drawer - having a number of decorative small and long drawers and a tooled leather insert over two large cupboard doors which is lined with a shelf. This is a lovely piece of antique furniture which is versatile and very useful for both storage and as a work station! It has a great patina - but does have some marks here and there and some small pieces of veneer missing. As with most pieces of this age - there is a stable crack to the side which has no movement… If you’re looking for a good solid piece of antique furniture that looks good on the eye and is very useful - then this may be for you! The secretaire splits into two pieces for ease of transport and moving! Dimensions 119cm wide x 43.5cm deep x 206cm high.
