Beautiful Victorian mahogany twin pedestal sideboard, having a scrolled carved gallery back. The left pedestal is fitted with a shelf and the right pedestal has three drawers - the bottom Drawers being a bottle drawer. The chiffonier also has three hidden drawers. This is a substantial piece and has a beautiful patina. There are signs of minimal historic worm which is inactive and has been treated. There are also very small pieces of veneer missing from the piece and a small chunk to the right rear of the cabinet - see photographs…. Despite its few issues - it remains a majestic piece of furniture that has stood the test of time - it’s a timeless piece from a bygone age! Most definitely a room changer! Dimensions 200cm wide x 78cm deep x 129.5cm high to top of galleried back and 93cm high to sideboard top. Collection from Rhosllanerchrugog....more
