Beautiful late Victorian rosewood inlaid upholstered chair, resting on short turned supports with original castors to front legs. This is a classic and elegant chair. The inlaid detail is beautiful and there is a decorative carved design to the back rest and to the arms. The upholstery is in a dusky pink which is surrounded by trim. As with all these chairs - they are quite low - so please check measurements. The wood has a beautiful patina that only comes with age and use. Obviously there are some marks etc - but on the whole - this is a lovely example! Dimensions 65cm wide x 60cm deep x 85cm high to back and 36cm high to seat. Collection from Rhosllanerchrugog.
