⭐️NOW REDUCED⭐️ This is a beautiful 1869 original water colour painting of Swettenham Mill, Congleton, Cheshire, England Swettenham Water Mill has a long history and I can find references to it dating back as far as 1265 One of the previous owners of the mill apparently came into the possession of the Apostle Stone which was claimed to be the preaching stone used by Christ’s disciple Paul and the stone was part of a collection kept at the Mill for many years The mill is now a private residence The painting is signed by the artist in the bottom right corner and in the bottom left is Swettenham Mill, Congleton The painting has been professionally framed By J Davey & Sons Ltd, Manchester The gold gilt frame does have wear all around Frame 42.5 x 55cm Painting 27.7 x 42cm Please see all photos as they form part of the description Thank you so much for visiting...more
