Wm Brownfield and Sons were manufacturers of earthenware and porcelain from 1837 to 1900 at Cobridge in Staffordshire. . On the back of both the soup plate and the platter are impressed date marks. There are also impressed marks for Wm Brownfield and Sons "Ivory" with registration lozenge also impressed. . Plate is in very good antique condition for their age with no chips or cracks.
