1920’s French Art Deco Brass Desk Inkwell

An elegant solid brass French Art Deco desk inkwell, made in France by Lloyd Pascal and Co in the 1920’s it has a floral design scroll on all four sides and also on the side and the hinged lid it comes with a ceramic inkpot which may or may not be the original, it is 7cm high, 14cm wide and 13cm deep, the central inkwell is 5cm square, it is in great condition for its age and use, the inkwell has ink marks on the rim there is also a hairline crack from the rim and down toward the bottom of the pot and back up to the rim which may have been repaired but it doesn’t detract from the charm of the inkwell which would look great in any home office, please see photographs for condition...more
