Refurbished vintage 1940’s oak and ply storage stool. Woodwork has been stripped of old dark finish. Seat has been re-upholstered completely. Inside painted pink. The stool has been upholstered with environmentally friendly rubberised hair, before being covered with fire retardant calico and finished off with a bold blue and brown floral patterned fabric. The result is a lovely contemporary item of furniture, with more than a nod to the past. The stool is in sound vintage condition, with no breaks to the wood or loose joints.
