A modest piece of oak furniture by the Utility Furniture Advisory Committee. Late art Deco early mid century period 1940s It’s a simple set up - two long drawers with a two panelled door cupboard underneath. As you can see the tallboy has great honey colour and patina. There is a caddy top with raised edge The whole is on a plinth base. The cupboard has an internal fixed shelf The oak has a lovely warm glow Lovely geometrical handles Dovetail joints. A smashing bit of English vintage furniture that will not break the bank and with the ability to be plonked into most spaces home or commercial! Condition: Original vintage condition This one is in great condition for its age with no repairs, no wobbles and only a few marks here and there and light scratches and marks to the top. Signs of old treated woodworm at the back panel.
