A vintage industrial floor lamp with a cream-coloured cast iron base and spun aluminium shade, a chrome-plated stem, and a black Bakelite handle, made in the 1950s for British medical supplies firm, Cory Bros. (Hospital Contracts Co.) Ltd. The lamp can be adjusted in height, width and angle of illumination, using two tension handles. There are a few minor knocks to the shade, a small scuff to the paint on the base, and some pitting to the chrome, but generally excellent.
