1950s Kutani Japanese 3 piece Tea Set. Handpainted

Favourite finds so far! Perfect display piece to bring character to a home. A lovely Interior design find. This beautiful Vintage Kutani Japanese 3 piece Tea set. Teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl hand painted approximately circa 1950s, signed on underside of cream jug and signed but worn on sugar jar, worn off on teapot. CONDITION: In great condition for age with no chips or cracks or colour fading! One of the inside layers (see pictures) of the bottom of the Teapot and sugar jar has slightly but naturally come apart in kiln process (not a damaged crack, its still sealed at the bottom and holds liquids fine) DESIGN Traditional Kutani colours of orange, some blue, yellow, brown, gold and white. Bamboo detail handles. The artwork displays floral and Japanese country scenes, with traditionally dressed character, birds and butterflies. DIMENSIONS Teapot = 15cm tall with lid x 16cm wide handle and spout included Sugar bowl = 11cm tall with lid x 11cm wide Cream jug = 8cm tall x 9cm wide NOTE* All Items are found and then sold as seen.
