This beautiful large mantle vase or planter was produced by Spode, as part of their exclusive 'Velamour' range. A scarcely found design it features an intricate basket weave design, in Spode's tactile satin off-white glaze. It would make a beautiful styling accent, as a vase filled with seasonal blooms, or as a planter filled with cheerful bulbs. 31.5cm (12.5") W x 16.5cm (6.5") H at highest point x 17cm (7") D Excellent vintage condition, showing only very minor signs of wear and use to its interior from use.
