Vintage Unit B Sideboard by Robin Day for Hille, 1950s A stunning vintage Unit B sideboard designed by Robin Day and was made by Hille in the 1950’s. It’s in a beautiful satin agba wood frame and teak drawers. Classic British mid century design. Clean minimal lines, black (now perspex originally would have been glass) sliding doors with the original vertical walnut handles. It is very well made, with a light and elegant design. Two pull drawers and two fixed internal shelves shaped to hold bottles and other items! Robin Day had one of these in his home! The original owner of this piece commissioned the unique detachable black steel metal legs from the factory in order to get this piece to fit under his window. One owner since new. In good vintage condition. Signs of wear due to age and use are apparent but we feel that this doesn't detract from the overall look of the piece.
