An original vintage mid-century desk lamp with a flexible gooseneck stem and an attractive pierced shade, lacquered in a vibrant cherry red, with a lightly textured paint to the shade. It was made in The Netherlands in the late 1950s / early 1960s, and was likely modelled after similar lamps by Hala Zeist and various Italian lighting firms of the period. Height (Max Stretched): 370 mm / 14.5" Width or Diameter (Max Fold): 350 mm / 13.7" Depth: 130 mm / 5.1" The shade has some minor knocks and dents, but the paint is in perfect condition.
