This was one of those items we knew we had to have it the moment we saw it! We'd never seen anything like it. It is a solid brass sculpture, with smooth clean lines, sympathetic to the era it comes from! The egg that rest on its back is removeable, but clearly completes this statement piece! We're leaning toward the scultpure being French. It is reminiscent of early 20th Century artist Diego Giacometti's bronze version of a similar idea.
