1960’s Toni Raymond Hand Painted Apple Sauce Lidded Pot MCM Kitchenalia Raymond Pottery, Torquay, Devon, England A vintage 1950’s/60’s green & red apple sauce pot designed and made by Toni Raymond. The lid has the words APPLE SAUCE written on next to the stalk and leaves. . There is a hole for a spoon. Makers mark is stamped on the base ‘RAYMOND POTTERY ENGLAND’. The Toni Raymond Pottery was founded in 1951 by Raymond and Toni Smith, thereby creating the name Toni Raymond. Established in Torquay, Devon in 1951. The company is known for its decorated earthenware table and kitchen wares. In 1967 they acquired Babbacombe Pottery which had been operating in the same area since 1949. 11cm tall 7.5cm diameter opening 7.5 diameter base 336g Good vintage condition.
