These simple and stylish chests of drawers are from the Liden Whitewood Range, a range of plywood furniture that you could purchase and leave plain or paint if you wish. This chest is in great avocado green and white Apparently the strap line for ads was “The Liden Catalogue Whitewood Furniture for Colourful Homes”! The chest has four drawers and is simple in design with a small integrated handle to the fronts. It is in very good vintage order, no wobbles, no deep marks, a couple of pen marks inside the top drawer but the rest are clear. There are some marks on the sides commensurate with age and use - please see photos. Something a little different for a change - a very neat, modish addition to your bedroom from the late 60s. Would look great in a playroom too - Lots of uses apart from the bedroom......more
