Lovely egg shaped bowl/ashtray modelled on the ball chair Ball and Bubble chair by Finnish designer Eero Aarnio in 1966 and 1968; which came on the market in 1970 by Quist, of Esslingen Germany. The QUIST PRÄSENTE bowl from the 1960s is a lovely piece of design. Its combination of ceramic and silver metal base creates a contrast of textures and colours. The use of bright colors in the design adds to its visual appeal. The combination of traditional ceramics with space age dynamics and the use of bright colors definitely make it stand out. The addition of the silver metal base adds an interesting contrast and texture to the piece as well.
