An original vintage lamp of hexagonal design with a black-lacquered metal frame and five cast glass inserts with a moulded leaf design on each. The lamp is certainly Swedish, and certainly late 1960s / early 1970s. The glass slabs are thick and hand-cast and are in a deep amber colour with a subtle hint of green. The top of the lamp has a brass cap with a brass hook that suspends the lamp from a heavy-duty chain of welded japanned steel which attaches to a brass hook on its original ceiling rose. The lamp is very heavy indeed, and will require a strong ceiling. It has a new earthed E27 bulb-holder and a very generous length of premium Italian 3-core double insulated cable.
