1960s Tiled Coffee/Side Table

Vladimir Kagan was the originator of this concept of small tiles in a variety of colour combinations and his tables can fetch well into the high thousands. However, this is a more copied approach to his design and has a wooden trim and painted black legs rather than brass. Still a statement nonetheless and it is sturdy and strong in its structure. There’s a rainbow of colours in this one. From primary pastel shades, through to jewel tones and natural browns…. even a glint of gold on some of the tiles. Simply great to add a bit of colour to a room. It looks as though the legs have been repainted more recently and one of the legs has a knot dent in its form, but this is not noticeable at a glance (see photo) and is in overall very good vintage condition. There are no noticeable stains or any cracking on the grouting. It stands at 45.5 high and is 62.5cm long and 39cm deep. NOTE: The delivery is not free.
