This is a very stylish, very comfortable and extremely well made armchair in solid afromosia wood. Made by Toothill furniture in England, circa 1960’s. Toothill was based in Newton Ayclifee, County Durham and the company started after the Second World War making loose covers for other sofa companies. This armchair / lounge chair is of exceptional quality with a beautiful almosdt organic design, originally retailed through Heal’s in the 1960’s. The solid afromosia wood frames are extremely sleek, stylish and well built. Upholstered in an orange cotton fabric and webbing replaced by previous owner. We have sympathetically cleaned the frame and cushions. Minor signs of previous use as to be expected. Please review the photos - happy to answer any questions.
