1970’s Konakovo ceramic trios blue fish on white

A lovely set of vintage Russian, Konakovo ceramic tableware, consisting of two each of dinner plates, saucers and cups. The pieces have a lovely glossy finish, are a fresh white colour with an impressed, hand painted blue fish and waves design. The ZIK, Konakovo back stamp places production between 1962 to 1974, in what was then USSR. Perfect for breakfast, brunch or lunch… The plates are approx. 26 cm in diameter, the saucers are 14 cm and the cups are 7 cm high and 8 cm in diameter. Condition is good overall, cups are clean inside, plates have some minor signs of wear and one of the saucers has a couple of small spots (see photos), but no significant issues. These items are very charming, and unusual, hard-to-find from ZIK factory of that era. As all items are preloved, there maybe signs of wear and use.
