1970s Teak Sewing Box, Mid 20th Century. Attractive teak sewing box with decorative square veneered panels. Placed in a complementary pattern, the panels show beautifully grained woods. An easy-lift lid is secure with a long brass piano hinge, and the bracket hinge works smoothly, providing stability. Inside, the satin fabric lining is clean and matches the fabric panel inset to top. A wooden insert, providing accessible reach for frequently used items, slides easily over runners across the box inside. The sewing box sits firm on gently angled legs.
