Heavy vintage onyx box. Pale green in colour with lots of brown and white figuring, and with brass colour mounts and hinges to the hinged lid, it's a very solid and sturdy trinket or jewellery box. It is not marked, but most probably made in Italy in the mid-late 20th century (c. 1970s).
