19th Century French Ebonised and Gilt Wall Mirror With Original Mirror Plate. Antique large quality French ebonised and gilt overmantle wall mirror 19th Century. An impressive and rare find, that would look amazing in the right location. No loose joints or woodworm. Original cloth back. Original finish remaining, with no highlighting, refinishing or finishing up. The frame is richly ornamented with gilded motifs, scrolling and an elaborate crest. The original mirrored glass has oxidation, incredible foxing and other age related imperfections. Overall maximum dimensions: 201cmH x 132cmL x 6cmD. In very good antique condition, with minor historic knocks, marks, wear, and imperfections Sourced from a French Chateau in Normandie this mirror stands as tall as your average ceiling and would look fantastic in a residential, retail or commercial setting.
