19th century gilt wood grate screen with grid-point ‘Gainsborough’ tapestry in Verre Eglomise Frame. Very decorative and pretty. There is some scuffing and chipping to the gilt frame- but it really makes the piece. The tapestry is in beautiful condition - depicting a country scene with a young lady and a dog. The black mount has some flaking - see all photographs. This could all be rectified - but if like us you like antique pieces in their original state - then this is ready to go.
