19th Century Large Antique Cheese Cover and Dish w/ Scrollwork and Floral Detail Vintage Blush Ware Cloche and Plate Simon Fielding & Co Pottery A generously sized antique cheese cover and underplate produced by Simon Fielding & Co Pottery during the 1890's (The company later became the Crown Devon Co.). The cover features a hand painted floral design to all sides on a cream base with a peach/brown blush border. The cover handle is beautifully detailed in a scroll design which is mirrored to the perimeter of the base plate. The inner cover is stamped with the design registration number impressed to the underside of the plate. In fair condition for its age, the cover features an aged split, visible externally and internally). The plate and cover both feature the odd scrape or glaze discolouration commensurate with age.
