Tellus Model Chairs 1960s manufactured and marketed by IKEA. set of 2 Birch Wood dark walnut finish According to IKEA itself "A durable and stylish kitchen chair, always up-to-date, easy to place and comfortable". A nice chair from Ikea in birch. The model is called "Tellus". The simple construction and uncomplicated design really make these chairs timeless, fitting in most decorating schemes, from rustic to the more modern. They first appeared in IKEA's catalogue in 1966 and last appeared in 1978 and were available in a selection of colours and finishes. These chairs are considered one of the IKEA's Most Expensive Designs. Dimensions Width: 41 cm, seat depth: 41 cm, seat height: 43 cm, height: 80.5 cm.
