4 Chairs designed by Thonet, for Ligna, Czechoslovakia, circa 30s. The Ligna brand, was one of several Thonet factories. The structure is made of bent beechwood. 2 of them carry its makers' mark and country of provenance under the seats (see photos.) By the manufacturer Thonet, and according to the construction, it was produced between 1922 and 1940. Made in Czechoslovakia. In stained beech wood. Comfortable with a lovely warm patina. Very aesthetic with its curved uprights at the back and its spacers, the seat concave and rounded, its backrest for comfort. NOTICE: 2 chairs are slightly toller than the other 2 but seat height is the same for all 4 The screws at the back rest also differ a bit from them. Dimensions: Width 42cm Height 2x 78/ 2x 75.5cm Depth 42cm. Seat height of 46.5cm. Condition: Good original condition The wood structure is in very good, original and vintage condition, with light marks and signs of age and previous usage commensurate with time (see photos.)
