50's 3 Part Serving Platter - James Kent - Old Foley - 'Eastern Glory' - No.5 - Made in England - Nibbles / Nuts / Sweets / Olives / Cheese A gorgeous porcelain 3 part serving platter produced in the 1950's by James Kents' firm Old Foley. The 'Eastern Glory' design with it's radiant oriental blossom in coral, blush pink and baby blue with boughs of turquoise foliage and black foliage with gold borders truly makes this dish centrepiece worthy. An exotic bird soars in the middle of the three sections whilst a delicate pattern of inlaid scrollwork is interwoven around the bowls. It is finished with a gold trim border. It's a beautifully crafted piece and your guests will know they have arrived when served up a medley of nibbles or antipasti on this charming addition to your kitchen ware! The platter is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or wear to the paintwork. The markings to the reverse detail 'Old Foley, James Kent' and the series production 'no.5'.
