50's Vintage Gold Porcelain Demitasse Coffee Cup & Saucer - HB Wein Hassenpflug Spanische Hofreitschule Spanish Horse Riding School, Austria A small and beautifully formed duo of porcelain coffee cup and saucer with a blazing gold colour detailing and a horse riding scene gracing the inner cup. As detailed, the horse is executing the 'Levade' movement. The cup is the perfect espresso shot size. It features a gold outer with gold rim and inner band, vertical incised rib pattern to the perimeter of the exterior body and a footed pedestal base with a delicate scrollwork scalloped edge. The saucer is detailed with gold to the outer and white to the inner with a gold band around the perimeter of the cup indentation. It features the same scalloped edge and a scrollwork pattern in relief. The set is in great vintage condition with no chip or crack damage however there are some light marks and faded spots to the gold detailing on the saucer.
