50's Vintage Cortendorf Wall Mask #3449 Beautiful Woman's Face Plaque - German Mid Century Modern Wall Hanging Décor, Lady Ceramic Head Art A beautiful mid century modern wall hanging face mask produced by Cortendorf during the 50's. The front facing profile of the woman shows her flowing long blonde hair, eyes closed with soft feminine features. The piece is marked to the back with the model number - 3449, and partial makers stamp - C in a rectangle with abstract crown, with the location 'Made In Western Germany' surrounding and the number 33 below. As detailed in the images the plaque is missing an area of paint by her right eyebrow. This would most likely be as a result of impact or scraping against another object as the surrounding paint is sound and not flaking. Otherwise, the piece is in great condition with no other damage.
