50's Vintage E Gomme G Plan Gold Triple Mirror

This gorgeous 50's G-Plan triptych mirror is the perfect piece for a bedroom dresser or vanity unit. The gold gilt painted resin framed triple mirror is heavily adorned with ornate scrollwork decoration and a fleur-de-lys style finial gracing the top of the central mirror. The two outer mirrors can be positioned to point inward and form part of the bracing structure. The central mirror can be cantilevered upwards however, please note that the rear bracing arm is quite stiff. This bracing arm can also release the central mirror for removal from its upper hinges and the mirror can be used as an independent piece. The glass is in fine condition with no chips or cracks. The paintwork is a beautiful mix between gold and bronze and is in great condition. Please note that there are two split repairs to the mirror's framework, an unpainted resin repair to one of the backing hinges and a chip on one of the side mirrors at the rear (see final image for detail). The rear of the mirror features the manufacturers label E Gomme (Early G-Plan).
