*6 x Royal Art Pottery Bowls with Pansy Design*

This a set of six really lovely vintage china dessert bowls - Royal Art Pottery by Alfred Clough Ltd. Made in Longton, England in the 1950s. Soft cream background with a very pretty design of pansies in purples and yellows. The bowl has a gold coloured trim around the rim. They also have a simple embossed design around the edges. These are smaller and shallower bowls unlike our modern dessert bowls. Dimensions - Diameter 6 3/8" (15.8cm) Height 1 1/8" (2.8cm) Actual bowl area - diameter 4 3/8" (11.2cm) height 7/8" (2.1cm) Manufacturers mark on the base: Royal Art Pottery England These pieces are showing signs of use and wear (commensurate with age) but are otherwise in excellent vintage condition.
