IKEA, Sweden Black Wire Metal Fruit Bowl This wonderfully cool and quirky 1990s fruit bowl was designed by Ehlen Johansson. Its wonderfully springy and would work well as a centrepiece for a kitchen island or dining room table. The bowl is made of steel, with an epoxy/polyester powder coating and that makes it pretty sturdy. Even if the fruits are a bit wet they will dry as they come in contact with air from all sides. It is beautiful and this draws all eyes on it, even if it is empty. You can use it for decorative purposes only when you do not have fruit in it. The matt finish and matt black colour add a clean, minimalist vibe to your decor, making it an excellent addition to any modern or traditional setting. Really striking. No longer produced.
