***A Striking Miniature Japanese Ginger Jar***

This is a really beautiful miniature vintage Ginger Jar with lid in a striking teal blue colour and decorated with a peacock and flowers. Hand painted I think. Manufacturers mark on the base: Japanese Characters (square and gold) which I think says Made in Japan (please see pictures). This item has minor marks and dings and is showing signs of use and wear to the decoration (commensurate with age) but is otherwise in excellent condition. ***Please see pics for details.*** Bought by my mum many 40+ years ago when she was going through her collectibles/antiquing phase but now all these items are boxed up and gathering dust.
