Beautiful Walnut Sideboard/desk crafted by world renowned cabinet maker Alfred Cox; known for his pieces all being sealed by the handicraft all of his pieces never saw a machine & were entirely hand crafted. This piece designed & made for Heals in 1950, is a stunning example of his amazing craft featuring wonderfully made dovetail drawers & a sweeping concealed lower drawer made from hand-steamed bent walnut wood. This piece has a 9ct Gold seal of approval stamped with ‘AC’ guaranteeing the highest level of craftsmanship. Dimensions: Length - 120cm Height - 72cm Depth - 46cm Condition Report: Excellent condition, the drawers are in wonderful condition, the wood is beautifully preserved on the body of the piece although there is some discolouration from sun damage on the top please refer to the photographs....more
