Charming sandwich or side plates by Alfred Meakin in the Harvest pattern, featuring soft teals duck egg, and pinks along with wheat ears on a cream background. They have a scallop shaped rim with basket weave detail. Perfect for picnics or afternoon tea. These were made in Staffordshire, England in the 1940s. It is approximately 15.2 cm in diameter. This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. None of the plates have chips or cracks, however there is crazing on some.Please see photos for details. I aim to use 100% sustainable packaging. Your item will arrive in tissue paper, honeycomb paper and brown paper void filler inside a strong double-walled cardboard box to ensure it arrives safely.
