beautiful coloured mid century etching of a woodland scene with stream flowing under bridge. The wonderful light wooded hillside in the background contrasts well with the dark undergrowth of the foreground. Supported in a gilt frame measuring 48cm x 59cm, the scene is presented in portrait format allowing the artist to fully emphasize the impression of gradient in the view. The visible image measures 27cm x 38cm on a good quality paper. Signed and titled The Chine, the paper also has the Rembrandt Guild Artist Proof stamp embossed in the bottom right corner.
