Early 20th Century Edwardian circa 1900s-1910s "Eyre & Spottiswoode (Bible Warehouse) Ltd London" hardback edition. With a gorgeous decorative gold & green cover and spine and containing eighty beautiful coloured illustrations by William Hole. It also features a lovely handwritten inscription in the front from Christmas 1912. Some wear to the cover, the spine is slightly "squished", the front cover is starting to come away from the front pages, some loose pages inside (still joined, none missing), some marks to pages from old/poor storage & a tiny tear on the first page. Still very much readable....more
