A 33 foot tape measure, wound inside a metal (likely brass) case with a hold out handle to turn and reel in the tape once finished as well as a metal loop in the end of the fabric tape, to help pull it out and hook it onto items whilst measuring from them. Possibly older than the 1910s. Some wear to case, fading/marks/fraying to the tape and three damaged sections/tears as pictured - the last being at the end of the reel. Still usable, it's just had a well used life!...more
