Stunning antique nouveau French art deco chime wall clock, dated to around the 1920s or 30s era in marked M. Depouilly Le Creuston on the face of a famous French clockmaker, contains a beautiful hardwood body with sleek veneer finish in fabulous form, decorative glass panel with a silver effect triangle art deco pattern with a designer clock face with period decorative numbers, come with a hook fastening lock. The original pendulum and critical run well and keep time. It chimes every 1/4 hour and whole chimes every hour with a gong for each hour. It has a beautiful sound with glimmering tones. With postage and not running the hour chime, it might need to be returned to the right time. There are many videos online to view to put back on the correct hour. It is very nice, authentic working condition with an original patina. There are minor signs of the clock face, a few marks and blemishes, and minimal signs of one frame joint.
