These are a bit of a mystery to us - as we can't quite determine what they were originally used for! We're going to guess, based off their flat sides and holes, that they at one point were part of a larger piece of furniture or perhaps an architectural feature such as moulding or part of a staircase. They represent Chinese style dolphins or sometimes called dragonfish - which symbolised luck, wealth, and prosperity.
