Antique Edwardian Solid Oak Wood Framed Wall Mirror - Vintage Rectangular Portrait Thick Chunky Frame Wooden Wall Hanging Mirror - 22 x 17" A stunning oak hanging wall mirror in rectangular form with tapered arrow-style mitred joint corners and inset bevel edge (to the frame, no bevel on the glass). This 19th century Edwardian mirror is a standout piece. The oak wood frame is generous in form at over 2" thick and is presented in a beautiful rich shade. The mirror possibly started life as a 3 part dressing table mirror judging by the gaps at either side of the piece (see images). The mirror is in good condition for its age however it does feature a hand full of long surface scratches and a vertical section of foxing to the glaze. There are some scratches to the frame and the top edge of the mirror features indications that something was removed at one stage as it bears two dowel holes. They are aged holes so they blend in with the wood finish. It is complete with original solid wood back including chain and is available for immediate hanging.
