A Majolica glazed French barbotine ceramic asparagus plate made by Orchies circa 1880's in Louis XV style. It has a unique design with 3 compartments, one larger in the middle and two on the outside. The design features a unique glazing colouring in pink, green, brown and aubergine with overlapping asparagus in the middle, and fluted and fanning edging to each compartment. It is stamped 23 62 on the base. This could be used to serve dips, other small perishables or to simply have on display hanging on a wall. This is a unique piece that is rare, if you're looking for a special piece for yourself or as a gift for an antique lover then this is perfect. Very good antique conditon, with just one small chip to one of the feet which is barely noticeable. If you would like more information, images or measurements please do get in touch. Handpicked and sourced by me in the North West region of France. Dimensions W: 25cm / 9.75" H: 3cm / 1.25" Follow us on Instagram for the latest updates: https://instagram.com/cl...more
